What “verified” actually means
Verification confirms a specific connection at the displayed check time. It does not mean a token is safe, valuable, endorsed or independently audited.
| Check | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Mainnet mint | The address exists and is a Solana token mint. |
| pump.fun origin | The derived bonding-curve account is owned by the pump.fun program. |
| Metadata | pump.fun returns the exact mint, or Helius resolves the metadata URI from that mint’s on-chain asset. |
| Sound review | The VOCAL record has approved content. |
| Website field | The website exactly matches the dedicated https://vocalpad.fun/sounds/… URL. Both vocalpad.fun and www.vocalpad.fun are accepted for the same record path. |
Exact-link matching
A final trailing slash is allowed. Unrelated domains, different paths, query strings, fragments, URL shorteners and redirects do not qualify. Copy the URL from your record page to avoid mistakes.
Rechecking a connection
The owner can recheck from Verify. Third-party metadata may change after a successful check; the badge shows the time of the last successful verification. Do your own current checks before interacting with a coin.
If a check fails
Check the mint, review status and website field. An upstream outage or unavailable metadata is a failed check, not a bypass. A token name, symbol or a mint ending in “pump” is never sufficient on its own.
